About this tool

Created by Dr Basil Suresh and Dr Victoria Ngai (ST1 ophthalmology trainees), we hope this tool is a helpful companion for your OST application journey. It mirrors the official evidence folder published by South West PGME.

  • Open a segment to record evidence. Some items score once, some score per item, and some are graded bands where only your best project counts.
  • One piece of evidence, one domain. Evidence normally cannot be counted twice — a PGCert in Education belongs under Education and Teaching or under Qualifications, not both. Repeats of the same kind of achievement only score again if you can describe what was additionally attained.
  • Your entries stay on this device. They are saved in this browser only, so clearing site data will erase them and they will not follow you to another device. The one exception is if you add an account: then a copy of your evidence entries — the ticks and counts on these pages, and nothing else — is kept for you, so the folder survives a new phone. You can delete that copy and the account at any time.

A planning aid, not an official calculator. Always check the current official criteria and Oriel before you submit.

Key dates

Taken from the published national recruitment timetable. Where a month is shown, the exact day within it has not been announced yet. Always confirm against Oriel and your deanery.

    Save your folder

Your folder is saved in this browser. Add an account and it is kept for you as well, so it survives a new phone, a cleared cache, or Safari clearing site data on its own.

Only your evidence entries are stored — the ticks and counts on these pages, nothing else. You can delete the account and everything in it at any time, from this panel.
